Borderlands 2 is a MMOFPSRPG(Massive Mulitplayer Online, First Person Shooter, Role Playing Game) the graphics are nothing to be impressed about as it's a cartoon type, but everything else makes up for it. With 4 player online & split screen online this game can be fun, plus the more people in the lobby the harder the game is but the better the loot.

There's no need(unless you want to) to play the 1st one to understand the story it explains almost all of it for you. Funny segments and open world will make want to keep on playing and wish you should have played it before. Only downside of it, to me, is the DLC it's great that it's always new content out but if you didn't get the ps plus version which gives it to you for free, get the GOTY edition.

Bottom line if you have a friend that comes over or friends online in need for a game to play together I say get this game you will have a lot of fun.

My rating: 9/10

Really? actually kuma played it. He think its about the same as the Borderland. Which I called boredland
Although I admit open world games are not my cup of tea.
Open world structure easily create lots of back travel and I feel overwhelmed by game pouring in with tons of quests.
I like to do things one by one. Hate those feeling of having tons unfinished tasks on my to do list. Maybe it's just personal preference, I'm a grandma gamer who preferring more old-school stuff.

You really make me curious how old you are lol :D

Anyways, about Borderlands 2, barring an actual review, this game was a definite improvement over the first one, even though, I would hardly call it an MMO, Its basically a fps using a Diablo-type game format, the graphics are not cartoon, it is a more advanced type of cel-shading but with added textures on buildings and such in order to sprinkle in aome realism. The playable.characters.(minus the dlc) are basic clones of the first game with different mod skills.

Also, one game I can't get the platinum for, because.of the lack of internet. Yay

ya, I know, it is called cel-shading. but most gamers have no idea about what it is ;) I know it because I took some game design class years ago in local community college.
I say it's good for you to mention those terms, it help populate proper terms used in game industry.
I'm a 200+ years old kittycat if convert to cat age. Do the math yourself
