No, there is a hidden value to each side quest, andif you get a certain value, it unlocks the "final day" but if you don't get it, or if the last boss beats you, it gives you New Game+ to try again, with all your stats

true, but like any good ng+ you start out with all equipment and spells and everything else. So you could power through the whole thing

Well I'm still playing it, and I'm running into several people from both 13 and 13-2, the story is good, the battle system is very complex, with several options to use for different scenarios.

I'm still not done (That,s why I haven't reviewed it yet )

I'm getting closer to beating it, and just found out that after certain days, monsters just get stronger. Which can be a real pain if you aren't expecting it lol
